Bee Positive Dog Training specializes in behavior modification, obedience training and off leash, e-collar training of dogs and puppies. We lean towards a balanced training approach.
Our goal is to teach you how to train your dog, stop unwanted behaviors, and teach your dog to be in a calm state of mind.
We are centered in San Mateo and serve the San Francisco Peninsula from Palo Alto to Daly City. Travel fees may apply outside of the greater San Mateo area. We also do remote training and training at our location.

OUR SERVICES

Puppy Training
We focus on helping you train your puppy in your home with minimal distractions, avoiding puppy behavioral problems, such as nipping, biting, and barking. We also focus on potty training, crate training, and teaching them their basic commands.

Private Behavioral Training
We focus on helping you teach your dog how to stop unwanted behaviors such as leash reactivity, counter surfing, barking in the house, jumping on guests, pulling on the leash, separation anxiety, aggression, etc.

Group Classes
Following graduating from puppy obedience or an obedience evaluation by one of the trainers we offer two levels of obedience training classes. These are 50-minute sessions with between one and five other dogs and their owners in the class.

Advanced Remote e-collar Obedience Training
This is one of our favorite things to work with once a dog is fully trained on basic commands on leash. It is the highest level of obedience training and is equivalent to therapy dog training without a specific task being introduced.

AKC Canine Good Citizen Test & Certification
This is a formal test of the skills a dog needs to perform to be designated and certified as an AKC Canine Good Citizen. The test takes about one-half hour and includes the use of distractions, another dog, and a stranger to test the dog’s performance.

Swimming
We're happy to assist in teaching your dog to swim if you have a pool. By locating the stairs, you can transform your pool into a fun and effective fitness resource for your dog, ensuring they remain healthy, happy, and active throughout the year.
